I enjoy the challenge of high growth, innovative businesses like ALPS and draw creativity and inspiration from brilliant minds, solving complex problems. I am fortunate, after 25 years, as an executive, consultant, and founder, to still be learning new things every day.
I enjoy trail running, hiking and tennis. I am a director of my local rugby club and a heathland preservation society volunteer. I enjoy travel and have a particular connection to France. A perfect day is spent playing cricket at West Wittering beach with all my family and the dogs.

I’ve joined ALPS Ecoscience UK Ltd as Operations Director. It’s a great opportunity to continue developing my penchant for sustainably turning waste into value at this innovative biological engineering consultancy.
I run for pleasure and enjoy getting out on the lanes and trails around West Wales, with a young family it’s when I do some of my best thinking. My perfect day is a spent on Newgale beach with a short board.

After emigrating to the UK from South Africa, I experienced a new level of environmental awareness. It inspired me to join the green economy and apply my process and water treatment skills to Anaerobic Digestion with ALPS. Seeking to provide innovation solutions to enhance process operation and increase revenue/profit.
My personal interests are motor sport, rugby, and the outdoors. Off road motorcycling and wild camping was my passion in SA. Waking up to a sunrise overlooking an uninhabited landscape or evenings with friends around a campfire with beer in hand.

I work with ALPS on a self-employed basis, where I oversee the finance function and support the Directors with business planning and forecasting.
I am relatively new to the green energy sector and find it fascinating—although I must admit I don’t always understand the scientists!
Outside of work, I’m very family-oriented and enjoy supporting my family with their education and hobbies. We love to travel, and I particularly enjoy planning trips and discovering new places together.
My perfect day starts with a dog walk, followed by lunch with the family and a bit of retail therapy.

As technical director, my role is to constantly question and ensure we a striving to do better every day. Ensuring we are a pushing the biological boundaries, bringing academic theory into practice, to challenge the norms to deliver more for our clients and the environment.
I am passionate about rugby and cricket and time permitting, I love hiking. I am exploring the UK’s wild places, so a coastal walk to a pub makes for a good day out.

As managing director of ALPS, my role is to work on the strategy of the business. I enjoy marrying great technical innovations with real world environmental challenges and commercial opportunities.
I am a 3rd dan in Shotokan Karate and enjoy both teaching and practising at my local club in Bracknell. I have 2 dogs which keep me busy walking. I like mountain life and my other interests of skiing and mountain biking reflect this.

Previously I worked in coatings and cosmetic chemistry where I learned how to operate a commercial laboratory and the wider aspects of safety, compliance and customer service. Now, I’m enjoying developing my knowledge of microbiology and the biogas industry, alongside having responsibility for the lab and testing protocols.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading with a nice cup of coffee, as well as gardening. If I have the opportunity, I enjoy hiking and walking. I am also a member of my local church in Bath.

I support the Team with analysis of lab results, biological operation and troubleshooting of AD systems, as well as microbiological protocols for R&D projects. I enjoy working towards finding alternative sources of energy. It makes me proud to be a part of an organisation making a difference for the future of the world.
In sunny weather I like travelling and sightseeing new places, as well as trying local dishes. However, in the rainy weather I enjoy staying home and painting, having a glass of red wine.
